About Us

Michael D. Regan moved to Raleigh, NC in 1995 from Rochester, NY to begin working as a consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP. He then founded Everest Consulting Group (www.everestcg.com) and worked with clients throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada in the area of operations management and process improvement. During that time he authored two books (The Journey to Teams and The Kaizen Revolution, both available on Amazon). After seven years of consulting and travel, he wanted to be home more often with his wife and kids, so he sold the Everest Consulting Group and started as a real estate broker at RE/MAX.

He founded Regan & Company one year later in order to innovate and apply his process improvement experiences to the real estate industry for the benefit of his clients. In five years he has risen to into the top 1% of agents in the triangle, and is a member of the Top Producers Council.

Consistent process improvement and innovation have paid off.

In 2009, according to Trendgraphix Real Estate Research, Michael D. Regan (among all agents in Wake County selling at least 25 homes) had the lowest average "days-on-market" (29 days).

In addition, Regan & Company was the lowest among all firms, at 39 days per listing.
